Nutsy - Privacy Policy

Nutsy is a budget and expense tracker. This policy explains what happens with your data when you use the app.

Your budget stays on your phone

Everything you enter - incomes, expenses, categories, tags, notes, limits and recurring payments - is stored only in the app's local database on your device. It is never sent to our servers or any cloud service, and we can't see it. It is deleted when you uninstall the app.

Like most Android apps, Nutsy's data may be included in your device's own backup to your Google account if you have Android backup turned on. That backup is managed by Google and your device settings, not by us.

No account, no analytics

You don't need an account. The app uses no analytics, crash reporting or tracking libraries of its own, and we don't build any profile of you. Your settings (language, currency, theme, tracked period) are kept on the device too.

Advertising

The app shows a banner ad from Google AdMob. To show and measure ads, Google may collect device identifiers (such as the advertising ID), IP address and general device information. The ads never get access to your budget data. See how Google uses information from apps that use its services.

In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, the app asks for your consent before ads are personalized, using Google's consent form. You can change your choice any time in the app's menu under Ad privacy. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in your Android settings.

Permissions

The app only needs network access, and only to load ads. Your budget works without it.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any data from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new date.
